(August 31)  Jennifer  McBain has been appointed by the county board of supervisors to fill a two-and-a-half year running vacancy on the Twentynine Palms Public Cemetery District board. McBain participated in her first meeting of the board last night. McBain replaced Joseph Crites, who completed the term of office for his late son, Adam Crites and did not seek reappointment.
